It is an organization dedicated to reducing the waste, cost and labor involved with stage productions by means of storing reusable, donated set elements and renting them out at affordable rates. Using the Co-op keeps your material budget costs down. Using the Co-op makes you an eco-friendly artist. The co-op will take set resources being donated on a case-by-case basis (depending on storage space
available and condition of items)
WHAT DOES IT COST? The co-op is currently a cheap per-piece rental and soon will have memberships and other ways of earning "access credit"
In the next few months we will be calling a community meeting to discuss membership levels. We want to work with the community on finding a way to help support the co-ops longevity and sustainability as well as continue to make sets affordable. HOW DOES IT WORK? If you are looking for flats, lumber, or set pieces contact Zac or Eliot to make an appointment to come and look at the stock or pick something up. If you are looking for space to build also contact Zac or Eliot to schedule a time with them. Regular co-op hours will be weekends 1-5pm. If you are looking to make a set donation contact Connor. If you have any administrative concerns, ideas about improving our services, or ideas on grants that we might be able to apply for, or partnerships that we may be able to make please contact Jenny.
