Breast lift with an implant ☝🏽

Patients often wonder how we determine lift vs. no lift…

It’s actually based on measurements that are taken in clinic, but a good rule of thumb is to look at where the ni**le sits in relation to the breast fold. This is best seen while looking at the side of the breast. You can either place a finger or something like a pencil (the pencil ✏️ test) in the breast fold and see where the ni**le sits in relation. If it is below it, a lift is likely needed so that the implant and breast look cohesive.
