I adopted this cat and I can't find a suitable name for her😻

Hello all my friends out there, Emma here 😻 do you know that I have a page? 🤔 this page has been sleeping for a few years, but now I have started posting again. I woke up this morning to find a stray cat in my bed—and honestly, I’m still processing 😂🐾.

So, I’ve shared about this lovely stray I named Sam—he’s been visiting me for a while now. Every evening, like clockwork, he waits by the side door until I let him in. He hangs out on the couch, enjoys some food in the kitchen, takes a little nap, and then heads back out. It’s our routine.

But last night, everything changed.
There was a bad rainstorm, and while I was out grabbing something from my truck, I suddenly heard a meow from down the street. I called out, “Sam!”—and sure enough, here he comes, sprinting toward me, completely soaked and looking absolutely miserable 😿💦.

He followed me inside, let me towel him off, and even let me clean his muddy fur. After a cozy nap and a meal, he left again like usual. I went to bed a few hours later.

Fast forward to 5 AM.
I wake up for work, sit up—and realize there’s a little ball of floof in my bed. Still half-asleep, I reach out to pet it, and it meows back. I turn on the light and it’s SAM. In my bed. Just peacefully snoozing like he’s lived here forever 😭😂.

Turns out, my front door had been blown open during the windstorm last night—and Sam must’ve found his own way back in. He made himself right at home.

Before I left for work, I sat on the couch—and Sam sat right next to me, gently holding onto my leg like he didn’t want me to go 😭❤️.

Sometimes, animals choose you.
And I think Sam has officially made his choice.

Today we want to wish all our American friends a very happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 we live in Norway and don't celebrate this day. We celebrate our Constitution on the 17th of May 🇳🇴 this picture was taken on this year's 17th of May, showing Emil and Marius inspecting the balcony 😻🐈
