ited as the hours went by. We bought in, because that's what it meant to have a job. Soon we realized this isn't the life of a job advertisement's "rock star." That we aren't "ninjas" or "pirates" (definitely not pirates — I'm terrified of parrots). We realized that we're human. That we want meaningful experiences. We want to make the most of our lives. So to all those who have already ended the bu****it — freelancers, digital nomads, or professionals who make the best use of coworking spaces — The Shift wants to bring you into a larger community of doers. We want to champion you. For those who haven’t quite made the leap, we want to inspire you to join us. Whether you work for yourself or are part of a team, we’re here to offer tools for a life outside the office, as well as to connect all of the likeminded folks out on the lunatic fringe. The Shift is beginning a movement. We want to help you capitalize on what your gut instinct has been telling you all along.
