Ace Recording

Two whirlwind days at Ace with the astounding Bill Kirchen scoring a movie. And we got ‘er done! You rock, brother.

I swear I'm gonna get better at this. In the last week or so I've had the Grupo Fantasma horns, Stefano Intelisano and his astounding keyboards, and Betty Soo and her amazing voice in here working on Matt Harlan's new CD project. It's gonna be awesome. And then I had my buddy Kevin Lungwitz (not on FB!) and his giant shiny tuba in to play on my dear pal (and also not on FB) Belinda Bowler's new kid's project. Did I get pictures of any of it? Of course not. But that's gonna change!

Sometimes they cluster. I’ve got a couple of songs to finish mixing for Kora Feder’s magnificent record. Y’all watch for it. After that, overdubs on my dear friend Belinda Bowler’s next project, and then I welcome my good buddy Matt Harlan back in to work on his next one. Man, this is fun. Anybody who wants to talk about doing some recording, get in touch. The gears are greased and the wheels are turning. Beautiful sounds abound.

Jus finished a week of work on what will be a gorgeous CD with a hugely talented young singer and songwriter named Kora Feder ( ). Y’all keep an ear out! She’s wonderful.
