The Northern Hemisphere of our planet is returning to life. Everything is pollinating, germinating, and about to explode in a beautiful new year of flowers, trees, baby animals. In times past this was more than just a treat for the senses. This was a sign of survival. Crops would begin to yield. Baby livestock would grow. Abundance would be a factor in every day life again.
As a culture, we’ve been in survival mode in the US for quite a while now. The horrors persist. But here we are. Persisting right along with them the best we can. Take time away from the phone more often and focus on creating happiness where you can in your own world. The horrors will always be waiting. Stay passionate and loud as you stand up for what guides your moral compass. I suggest that you find balance between staying current and staying sane.
If you can steal a moment, meditate on what you’d like to see bloom and grow within both aspects of your experience. Begin to notice how every day you have an opportunity to do small things to make that dream a reality.
