Tango Tribe
Many people start learning Argentine tango for its sensuality and elegance. But many also drop out when they discover its movement and emotional complexity. Our guided approach gives concise and clear challenges, experiments, experiences, and explorations that allow you to discover your inner dancer and share that with a partner. Learn how to master energy—you, your partner, and the music—to create beautiful feelings.
Anyone who wishes to become a good writer [teacher] should endeavour, before they allow themselves to be tempted by the more showy qualities, to be direct, simple, brief, vigorous, and lucid. -H.W. Fowler, lexicographer (10 Mar 1858-1933)

A student in our tango class** wrote to say they would have to regretfully drop out after missing several classes. We wrote back ...
We certainly understand if you need to drop out. We will likely offer the class again in the Fall.
And! Each class reviews earlier material. Plus, students helping other students is actually a great learning experience. When we explain things to others, we test and strengthen our own knowledge. Plus, part of the ethos of Argentine tango is meeting others where they are at, seeking to create an enjoyable dance experience even when dancers have different levels of ability and experience.
