Literacy First

Our high-impact tutoring program wouldn’t be possible without the schools who welcome our tutors to their campuses. To make sure we are supporting the students who need it most, we train and coach tutors in Title I public schools who serve large numbers of students experiencing poverty.

Thank you to the following school and district collaborators who hosted Literacy First tutors during the 2025–2026 school year: Austin Achieve Public Schools, Austin ISD, Elgin TX Independent School District, Georgetown ISD, Leadership Academy Network in Fort Worth ISD, Hamilton County Schools, and Montessori Elementary at Highland Park.

We’d also like to express our gratitude to Chattanooga 2.0 for their implementation support across Hamilton County, TN and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for their help in recruiting and supporting pre-service teachers as tutors.
