Austin Beyond Coal

The Fayette coal plant is costing our city over 5.7 billion gallons of water and $200-300 million dollars in health care costs every year. What's more, climate disruption is already wrecking havoc on our communities in the form of catastrophic flooding, unprecedented fires, and record drought. We can move Austin forward and strengthen our economy by supporting renewable energy, conservation, and programs that expand access to well-paying green jobs.
