The Aftermath... Photos from the Black Bear encounter and what's left of the Topbar transition hive. (Which isn't much. Out of 5 frames and 12 bars of comb, only 3 frames were salvageable.)

The first sacrificial sting has been received... I've paid my initiation dues and I'm officially a beekeeper again! 🤣 Technically I got stung twice, once in the thigh (pant leg wasn't tucked into my boot fully 🤦♂️), and once in the wrist.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you... BEES!
Tomorrow is the big day...Bees FINALLY arrive! 🤩🐝🙌 Though, after moving to a new location and not touching any bee equipment for over 7 months... I don't know where anything is!!! 🤦♂️
