We are honored to announce that We Can Now has been selected as a 2026 !
We are incredibly grateful to the Austin Community Foundation Forever Austin Fund for investing in organizations that are creating lasting change across Central Texas. Being selected as one of 130 nonprofits receiving support is more than an award it is a vote of confidence in our mission and in the people we serve.
This investment aligns directly with our vision of creating sustainable pathways out of homelessness through street outreach, diversion, prevention, healthcare access, mental health support, job readiness. Every step we take is rooted in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them toward long-term stability.
As Austin continues to grow, so does the need for collaborative, community driven solutions. We are proud to stand alongside so many organizations committed to building a stronger, healthier, and more equitable Central Texas.

🔹 Many of our most vulnerable neighbors face barriers that keep them from accessing traditional services, making outreach their first connection to help. (National Alliance to End Homelessness)
🔹 People living unsheltered often experience serious physical and mental health challenges and need services brought directly to them before they can successfully engage in care. (Community Solutions)
🔹 Trust is everything. Consistent, person-centered outreach helps restore dignity, build relationships, and connect individuals to housing, healthcare, and life-saving resources. (National Alliance to End Homelessness)

Today, the We Can Now team will be out in the community providing food, water, hygiene supplies, resources, and most importantly—hope. Our mission is simple: meet people where they are and help create a pathway forward.
Homelessness is not just a housing issue—it’s a human issue. Every conversation, every meal, every connection has the power to change a life.
