RIP Troy Millward

Troy was one of the most genuinely uplifting people I've ever met. I always looked forward to working with him, whether we were teaching a summer camp together or jamming. This picture was from when he, Mark Turk and I played a cover of Play That Funky Music with a choir in front of City Hall, taken in his signature selfie style. I had wanted the 3 of us to start a cover band after that and it never got off the ground. Troy and I were actually playing in a band recently and had a couple of tunes under our belt already. I'm devastated that he's no longer here to keep the beat going.

It's been a really rough start this year. I know too many people who have lost someone in the last couple of months. Tell everyone you love and appreciate them now. You never know when the last time will be. Much love to you Troy, your kindness and caring attitude will be sorely missed in a world that desperately needs more.
