She represents Kuchipudi dance the world over, as a performer and educator. Governor Eleni Kounalakis lauded Ms. Bhavana’s performance at War Memorial Hall, SanFrancisco. As a solo performer, she has presented concerts and workshops for prestigious organisations, embassies and consulates of India (across the world including Germany, Singapore, Sydney, San Francisco); Temple of Fine Arts (Malaysia & Indonesia), National Museum (Copenhagen), Kennedy Center (Washington DC), NCPA (Mumbai, India), S**c Macay. Kuchipudi dance is an ancient predecessor to the modern day broadway musicals, where the dancer renders dialogues and songs while displaying an array of histrionics. She is trained in south indian classical and western vocals, and has been praised for her vocal prowess and acting in Kuchipudi presentations. “Bhavana Reddy turned up as a marvellous actor with her histrionics. Bhavana is the recipient of the coveted Indian National Award for Young Dancers, ‘Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar’ amongst other awards and a choreography grant from the legendary European choreographer Jiří Kylián’s Foundation. Some collaborative highlights include - the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra’s, ‘Rite of Spring’ with Kitty Mcnamee at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. In Europe as the ‘Artist-in-Residence’ choreographing with Leo Spreksel for India Dans Festival, Korzo Netherlands, and with Prof. Ronan Guilfoyle, Director School of Jazz, Dublin City University, Ireland. Bhavana teaches online to numerous students from across the world in regular group Kuchipudi Dance classes for the past three years and counting.
