🔥 Firefighter Tip: What to do if your dryer catches fire! 🚨
It can happen fast — here’s what to do to stay safe:
1️⃣ Call 911, even if the fire looks small.
2️⃣ Don’t open the dryer door — oxygen feeds the flames.
3️⃣ Unplug the dryer or flip the breaker only if it’s safe.
Get everyone out immediately.
4️⃣ Evacuate everyone from the home immediately.
5️⃣ Once it’s safe, schedule a vent inspection before using your dryer again.
