The Austin Java Users Group brings together Java developers in the Austin area to share ideas, discuss advances in technology and generally promotes the use of Java. The AustinJUG accomplishes these goals with:
* Presentations from industry leading speakers, "hometown heroes", and expert panels.
* Reviews of products from leading Java vendors.
* Networking on-line and at social events.
Tonight Everett Toews of Rackspace is going to provide a nice overview of the jclouds Cloud service and walk us through a
live setup and example problem on our laptops. (Make sure you bring your laptop with a wireless network card and a fully charged
battery since there are limited power outlets in the room.)
Rackspace is also providing free pizza and beverages before the meeting starting at 6:30 PM!
