📣🗳 results are in for “Best Online Personality”…. And I lost for the 3rd year in a row 😂 Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that took the time to nominate me and vote for me. I know this sounds really cheesy but I feel like I won because I’m super f*cking grateful for the life I have and the people this platform has connected me to. ⁣

I have always viewed social media as a tool, never a status symbol, and a way for me to truly connect with other music-lovers, artists, and people in the industry that I otherwise would have never met 💕⁣

It always surprises me when people recognize me and humbles me that people care and see how hard I work, or even acknowledge a silly story or vulnerable moment that I’ve shared 🥹 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pushed through the awkwardness and second, triple guessing myself for sharing a vulnerable moment at my expense to help someone else know they’re not alone. Even if it is just to make you laugh, smile, or simply sharing the experience with you.⁣

I’m not nearly where I want to be and have so many goals and things I want to do to help others, but it’s moments like these and taking a “pause” to really say THANK YOU for the support over the years. 🙏⁣

A wise person told me today “Have a lot of fun getting content, it’s always the best when you enjoy it”, and I’m going to continue to do just that 😊⁣

This is a request from every female in your life to look out for us, be an ally, be a feminist, be a FRIEND. We need you now more than ever to step in and fight for our rights, fight for our basic rights about our bodies. That is not asking a lot but it is something that we go through day in and day out. ⁣

A woman should not have to wake up and fear for her life, her sisters, her Mom’s and friends. We just want to feel safe, heard, understood and appreciated. It’s not hard but there are predators out there in the form of politicians, people in power and toxic men who seek out control over us in the form of inappropriate behavior and even slipping things into our drinks to deem us powerless.⁣

Reach out to your girl friends and check on them. Ask them how they’re doing and listen. JUST LISTEN without response, hold space and give them the attention without expecting it to be reciprocated in that moment because confiding in you will provide some relief and understanding.⁣

Kudos to those men who live their lives authentically and treating women with respect, admiration without sexualization, and the purest form of love. Thank you for looking out for us. ⁣

Stand together and support your friends, lean on them. Thats what they’re there for and do not vilify all men. I hate when women say “I hate men”, no you don’t. You hate the toxic masculinity and the patriarch culture that’s been given a platform to make decisions about us or your history with bad men. ⁣

I swear there are good ones out there and believe that cause they want to be there and support you. ⁣
