Connect for Success matches tutors with kids in foster
care to give them the educational support they need to stay in school,
improve academic performance, and achieve greater success later in life. If you have a child in foster care who needs help, or you are interested in becoming a tutor, email [email protected].
Welcome! We are excited to launch this page and spread the word about Connect for Success. We started the program in August 2020 as a pilot under Foster Village, and because of the ongoing need and success we've experienced, we're creating a nonprofit to sustain this program and scale it up to meet the need. We screen, train, and support tutors who are matched with kids in foster care in central Texas who need some extra help in school. 75 percent of the kids in the program reported improving academically within three months of being in the program. We're proud of this and want to do even more - please like our page and spread the word!
