We honor the courageous men and women who selflessly sacrificed their lives, as well as the family members and loved ones who feel their loss most profoundly. For those still in mourning, we ask that You envelop them in Your comforting embrace and make Your presence known. For those who perished long ago, help us to always remember their sacrifice.

In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Since 1868, Memorial Day, originally known as "Decoration Day," has focused on honoring the sacrifices made by individuals who served our country. It is a day dedicated to remembering their contributions. We pay tribute to these heroes and their legacies by remembering their sacrifice.
