When we rescued sweet Thumbelina from the streets, we hoped she would recover. But from the moment she arrived in Austin, her little body never improved.

What she did find was love.

For months, her incredible foster family carried her, snuggled her, and gave her the comfort and kindness she had never known. They loved her exactly as she was.

Sometimes rescue isn't about saving a life—it's about giving a dog the gift of knowing that the world isn't always cruel. Thumbelina spent her final months surrounded by warmth, peace, and people who adored her.

In 2016, we rescued Ellie with in Thailand, where she was headed for the dog meat trade. When she arrived in Texas, she was incredibly scared and had never known the love and safety every dog deserves.

We were blessed to find the perfect family for her in Louisiana. With patience and kindness, they gave Ellie the life she had always deserved—a life filled with love, comfort, and security.

This week, Ellie crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Grace has been treated for 10 days at the vet and is ready to get back into a foster home.
