Roughly modeled after Bessaikeโ€™s familyโ€™s earliest living quarters, the work centers on an ongoing conversation between performers and audience members.

In the performance, the performers embody one of the primary functions of a โ€œlittle roomโ€: that of a recording space. The music composed during the performance draws from the sounds often heard in these environmentsโ€”the prattering of rodents between walls, family disputes unfolding in adjacent rooms, eavesdropping through thin partitions, and inadvertent interruptions.

Through these shared sonic and social experiences, ๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™ƒ๐™š๐™–๐™™๐™จ ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™‡๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™ก๐™š ๐™๐™ค๐™ค๐™ข๐™จ seeks to create a sense of universality, highlighting common realities across cultures that inhabit and adapt to little rooms.
