Life and love rarely happen in grand, picture-perfect moments. They unfold in the quiet, unspoken spaces—where a glance, a touch, or a fleeting smile holds more meaning than words ever could. Documentary photography thrives in these spaces, capturing the raw, unfiltered beauty of what it means to truly connect. It’s not about creating a scene but preserving the authenticity of life as it happens, where love reveals itself in the simplest, most honest ways.

Dear Little Me,

I see you. I see the way you shrink yourself, the way you try to take up less space, the way you soften your voice and steady your hands, hoping it keeps the peace. You learned so young that love was something to earn, that safety meant staying small. But you were never meant to be hidden.

Now, I hold a camera in my hands, and I see women—just like you, just like me—unraveling the weight of those years. I see them step into the light, let their shoulders drop, let themselves be seen. I watch as they take themselves back, piece by piece, in the curve of a hip, the arch of a back, the way their eyes shift when they finally believe they are enough. I capture them the way I wish you had been captured—whole, worthy, free.

You don’t have to be small anymore, love. You are safe now. You are here. And I promise, I will always see you.

With all the love you never should have had to earn,
Me🫶🏻
