PEACE through PIE

As we all come up for air we've had time for reflection. Maybe you've pivoted in a new direction, and changed how you go about doing things. We at PEACE through PIE have been doing exactly that these past two years. We've been working hard on being a Community Partner with Beauty's Community Garden in Houston. We've been developing projects for the whole family focused on 1) How to be your own food source through urban gardening, 2) Learning about the benefits of eating more fruits and veggies, and 3) Jumping into foods from other cultures in hopes to expand your palate and appreciation of other foods. You'll be hearing more about this and their PEACE through PIE, that is coming up this April 2nd on ZOOM. Yes, you can participate no matter where you are in the US. SWEET HOME is having their 13th Annual PEACE through PIE Social this Saturday, March 5th, from 11:30-2:30. This is a welcome event for the whole family to sing, eat pie, and enjoy fellowship. What a joy! We are excited their annual tradition continues, including the Pie Auction, where all proceeds go to the restoration to this historic Clarksville church.
