We’re thrilled to share that Austin Community College is experiencing a nearly 20% enrollment surge for the upcoming Fall semester! As a result, the A&E CAD department is expanding and we are hiring adjunct faculty for all of our specializations. If you have 3+ years of experience in the field, we would love to have you back in the department to teach and share your expertise with our students.

We’re Hiring for All Specializations

• We are currently hiring adjunct faculty for all specializations within the A&E CAD department: Architecture, Architectural BIM/CAD, Civil CAD, Electronic CAD & Mechanical CAD.

• While we welcome applicants in all areas, we have an urgent need for a new MEP instructor in our Architectural BIM/CAD program using Revit for the upcoming Fall semester.

• Adjunct faculty teach one class per semester.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

• Degree in CAD-related field & 3+ years of work experience: Strong academic background and industry expertise.

• Passion for teaching & student success: Commitment to mentoring and supporting student development.

• Proficient in CAD software & industry standards: Expertise in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Solidworks, to name a few.

Clear communication & adaptability: Ability to explain complex concepts and adjust teaching styles to diverse learners.
