What do you know about the Lunar New Year? This holiday, celebrated by over 20 percent of the global population is most commonly celebrated in East Asia, and by those of East Asian descent. For myself though, I have always appreciated celebrating what feels like a more logical new year (based on an actual new cycle in the moon, rather than an arbitrary date on the calendar). Plus, I love the food!
This Tuesday, February 1st, will be the beginning of the Year of the Water Tiger... a year of abundance so long as we are able to lean in to the flow.
