Kids helping kids. This is where it starts.šŸ’›

It started with parents who chose to involve their kids early, teaching them that showing up for others is just part of who we are.

Now, these three are doing chores, saving their money, and choosing month after month to give to the Angel Alliance.

And in the process, they are learning something bigger than generosity.šŸ‘‡

✨That their actions matter.
✨That consistency builds trust.
✨That even at a young age, they can help change someone else’s story.

Because when you learn to show up early, it becomes part of who you are.šŸ˜‡

If kids can do this, imagine what is possible for all of us.

Caring for children and families experiencing foster care is not someone else’s responsibility. It belongs to all of us.

Reaching every child will take a community of people willing to say yes.šŸ’™

This is how change happens. Together.

So what is your yes?

Yes to volunteering.
Yes to mentoring.
Yes to giving.
Yes to partnering.

In the world of social work and trauma informed care, becoming a certified TBRI Practitioner is a really big deal and we could not be more proud of our team.šŸ¤

A huge congratulations to Mike, Jada, Julia, Daniela, Kailey, and Stevie from our Austin and National Angels Programs teams for completing and currently becoming Trust Based Relational InterventionĀ® (TBRIĀ®) Practitioners.

This highly competitive and intensive training equips professionals with powerful tools to better support children and families impacted by trauma and that matters deeply in the work we do every single day.

At Austin Angels, we believe relationships change everything. Investing in world class training like this is one more way we continue striving for excellence in how we serve children, youth, and families who experience foster care.

These leaders already show up with wisdom, compassion, and heart every day.

Watching them grow even deeper in their knowledge and skillset is inspiring, and our organization and the families we walk alongside will be better because of it.šŸ˜‡

The solution to the foster care crisis isn’t complicated — it’s community.

Somewhere along the way, we stopped showing up for our neighbors. We’re here to change that and we’re asking you to be part of it.šŸ’™

When you say yes to consistent support, you help provide children and families with stability, connection, and the tools they need to thrive before challenges become crises.

Your yes can change the foster care experience. What’s your yes? Volunteer. Mentor. Give. Partner.šŸ˜‡

If this reality sparks something in you, don’t ignore it.
