The Falling Block (also known as Fallen Block) is not located in the Bighorn Mountains of north-central Wyoming. It is a massive, 50- to 75-foot square boulder famous for its eerily perfect cubic shape and sharply defined edges.

Deep shafts are by no Means uncommon in Egypt. There are at least 5 on the Causeway leading to the middle pyramid alone.

The Osiris shaft being the most famous, containing massive sarcophagi similar to the Serapeum. The bottom is a flooded chamber with another empty sarcophagus.

The Step pyramid of saqqara has a deep shaft in the center and another right outside. None compare to the labrynth of Hawarra, 40 meters deep and a staggering 51 football fields in area. We are only scratching the surface of the rabbit hole..
