Sometimes the greatest evidence of God’s protection is not in the doors He opens, but in the ones He refuses to let you walk through. We often grieve opportunities that didn’t work out, relationships that ended, or plans that fell apart, without realizing God was shielding us from pain we could not yet see. His love is not limited to what He provides; it is also revealed in what He withholds. What feels like rejection today may actually be divine protection preparing you for something far greater tomorrow. Trust that God sees what you cannot, and believe that even closed doors can be expressions of His mercy, wisdom, and love.
Jesus never called people to admire Him from a distance. He called them to follow Him completely. There is no place for lukewarm Christianity because the Kingdom was never built by half-hearted disciples. Lukewarm faith wants the benefits of God without the surrender, the blessings without the obedience, and the crown without the cross. But following Jesus requires more than occasional commitment, it requires wholehearted devotion. God is not looking for spectators. He is looking for people who will love Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. The question is not whether Jesus has a place in your life. The question is whether He has first place. A divided heart cannot fully follow a Lord who gave everything.
