I love it. I’ve been to over 60 countries and 7 continents. I’m blessed that this happened before the pandemic started.
Even wrote a how to book on travel photography called Photo Trekking.
We were just talking last night about how travel pushes you out of your comfort zone constantly.
Travel has informed and transformed my whole world view, my perspective on life, and how I interact with the world.
Oddly enough, the only other country I’ve been to in the last two years has been Mexico. Thank god 2019 was a rockstar travel year for me from Finnish Lapland to Cappadocia Turkey, to Madagascar.
I grew up in a household with parents that have never been out of the country nor have a passport. My parent’s raised my sister and I on a salary of $55k in the suburbs of Seattle, not dirt poor, but not even close privileged either.
I’ve worked for every penny I’ve made, and created every opportunity. I designed my life to integrate travel as much as I could.
The old flight era of TWA and PanAm airlines have always been fascinating to me. If you haven’t been to the at JFK, you must. They turned the old TWA terminal built in 1962 into a beautiful hotel.
I love my white suitcase, I just wish it was built a little better for an expensive suitcase.
