My name is Emily and I live in Austin, Texas and I weave using a technique called tablet or card weaving to create a variety of unique hat bands, earrings and other handmade accessories. As an artist and art teacher, I have dabbled in many different forms of art, but have always had a desire to create artistic textiles. I’m working on a custom extra large toiletry bag. I am very excited how to handles turned out and the vintage feel of the natural leather. Working in 3-D hurts my brain a bit, but I love the challenge. This is a modified Al Stohlman pattern.
