WILLIAM CANNON BRIDGE CLOSED: William Cannon bridge at I-35 will be closed so construction crews can set beams for the elevated lanes. To perform work safely and efficiently, crews will close the bridge for two consecutive weekends.
➡️During these weekends, there will also be lane reductions on the I-35 mainlanes and both directions of the frontage roads. Please expect delays and travel safe.
Friday, May 29 at 10 p.m. to Monday, June 1 at 5 a.m.
Friday, June 5 at 10 p.m. to Monday, June 8 at 5 a.m.
⚠️Detours:
From eastbound on William Cannon Drive: Drivers will turn right on the I-35 frontage road to access southbound I-35 or use the U-turn at Slaughter Lane to head north.
From westbound on William Cannon Drive: Drivers will turn right on the I-35 frontage road to access northbound I-35 or use the U-turn at Stassney Lane to head south.
