avy sound. Lacination is a band that strives to differ themselves from other bands in the same Extreme Metal genre. Among the line-up changes within the first year, In 2002 Art Terrezas on bass decided Lacination was the band for him. With adding Jesse Onofre in 2003 on rhythm and lead guitar the sound was complete,With heavy guitars, grinding drums, and guttural vocals, we are determined to setting ourselves apart from the other bands within the Death Metal Community, the first release was in late 2001 a 3-song EP "Unholy Trinity" with Jason Pion on vocals and Chris Aguirre on guitar and in 2002 release a 5-song EP "Clone the Holy" with Adam Flores on vocals and Oz Vasquez on guitar, two years later in 2004 released "Darkness Reborn" with Jesse Onofre on guitar, with constant touring later that year and the next two years, the band had to also deal with personal changes and band line-up changes the band decided to take some time off to re-write new material, in 2011 the band played at their Decade of Death 10th year anniversary show at Bonds 007 Rock Bar in San Antonio,TX and the following year in 2012 starting working on the upcoming CD, with the release of their latest titled "Continuing" in 2013 with Adam Flores on vocals, Jesse Onofre on guitar, Art Terrazas on bass and David Arredondo on drums,in the middle of 2014 Alyssa Morales was on vocals thru the summer of that year till the of 2014,the view of the band has remained constant over time incorporating different styles of extreme music. Lacination has had the opportunity to share the stage with national bands: Cannibal Co**se, Dying Fetus, Monstrosity,Cerebral Bore,Decrepit Birth, Deeds of flesh, Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Nile...having playing back to back shows at the yearly WEST TEXAS DEATH FEST in Amarillo,TX in 2014 and 2015 LACINATION made their mark on The TEXAS DEATH METAL(TXDM) scene once again,John Zulick on vocals in march of 2015 thru 2017 and Leon Hefner on guitar in October 2015 and currently, Art Terrazas(bassist)came back in the band in 2019 and currently still playing,in 2017 Shane Smith was on vocals thru 2017, the band played numerous shows in Texas with the new line-up for a couple of years and soon after that the band took a hiatus and reformed with new vocalist in 2019 with Irik Corona on vocals , A Reunion Show will take part on October 29th, 2022 at Bonds 007 Rock Bar honoring our falllen brother Chris Aguirre with all Original Members of 2001
