A new sanitary sewer line in McKinney is making use of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe in a project to help protect a nearby lake as well as reduce future maintenance. The project's new sanitary sewer line will connect the city's existing system to a large, new housing development site with multiple trunk lines totaling 21,000 linear feet. Because of the long expanse of pipeline, installation starts deep to avoid a lift station and continues at an average depth of 25 feet. See how Moss Utilities is handling this challenging $7.9 million project.
