Looking to make career connections? Consider registering for TPWDiscover's upcoming program, "Coastal Science Investigation."
TPWD Kills and Spills biologists are trained to respond to fish kills and various kinds of spills. During our "Coastal Science Investigation" program, students will learn more about what these biologists do, why it's important to respond to fish kills, and what causes them in the first place. Students will then act as honorary members of the Kills and Spills team to determine what caused a mystery fish kill and estimate how many fish were impacted.
Join us LIVE on April 29th for “Coastal Science Investigation.” Register online at https://www.connect2texas.net/ by clicking on the “Events” tab and selecting “Texas Parks as Wildlife Department” as the content provider in the program filter. Registration closes one week before the scheduled program date.
If this program time or date doesn’t work for you, you can always email us at [email protected] to request an alternative date for your students or to request a link to the program recording.
