Most people think “fake it until you make it” means pretending.
For me, it meant preparing my mind and body to become the person I wanted to be.
In the six weeks before winning my first bodybuilding division at Muscle Beach, I had a daily routine:
✅ 30 minutes of listening to my own voice saying “I am” affirmations
✅ Visualizing myself on stage, posing with confidence, holding the trophy
✅ Asking, “Now that I’ve already won, how would I act differently?”—and making one small change each week
That mindset—living as though I’d already won—turned visualization into reality.
When I was handed that first-place trophy, the moment was pure euphoria. Not because of luck, but because my actions, identity, and belief had already aligned.
