Happy birthday 🎂 🎉! We’re genuinely so lucky to have someone like Vanessa - a great coach and person who genuinely cares about her students, and is always looking for ways to make both herself and them better on the mat. There’s nobody friendlier or fiercer out there. She deserves the best kind of birthday, so tell her how cool she is.

Been loving seeing all these folks come out to train on weeknights this week! Solid crews in self defense, striking, and jiu jitsu classes. Hard working communities build each other up - keep the reps coming!

Make it back to your feet! That’s our focus for the month of May in self-defense classes. We’re working on defending ourselves from the less-than-ideal position of being on our backs, with the intention of standing back up. Sometimes that means strikes, sometimes it means connections and sweeps. 🧹 Come rep these valuable skills for the next month!
