Bake sale for survivors of apartment fire
Vegan bake sale for victims of Burleson apartment fire
Vegan friends, this Saturday (3/14) we're going to have another charity bake sale at Dear Diary, but this time for the victims of the horrible apartment fire that happened this morning. Customers "pay" for baked goods by donating.
If you would like to donate baked goods, you can drop them off at Dear Diary Coffee before or during the bake sale.
Please include an ingredient list so people with allergies know what they are buying. Also, baked goods should be vegan, of course. We try not to confuse our patrons!
If you'd like to attend the bake sale, it will be 3/14 from 9am - 1pm. Then we'll put all the unsold baked goods in a basket instructing customers to donate. The "silent bake sale" will last until the basket is empty.
Last week, the cookie and cronut sale raised $250 for Hill Country Ride for AIDS and $60 for the Rosedale School. It was just me and one other lady. This weekend, we can raise so much more for the poor survivors who are in critical care.
