“It Isn’t Love” is available for Pre-Save on Spotify, link in my bio! 💔 Now for story time… In the song I talk about how “I go easy on the men who don’t know my name”, and there’s a good reason for this. We didn’t get name tags, which is why I think when I got hit with a “sweetheart” or “thanks love” a lot. Inherently this isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it made me feel like my identity was worthless. I wanted to be recognized for who I was, I’m not nameless and neither are you. Going the extra mile just didn’t hit the same way, maybe I just like people too much to not connect to them. I just couldn’t do that as a server, and it made me hella jaded. Music is the best way I get to be me, wins every time, so grateful I get to do this and be more me. I’m happy to report you can still call me love these days 💗
