🌻 This Week in Bloom
This week reminded me that joy often shows up in the little moments.
🌞 I started Friday feeling good and glad to be a part of a new day.
🎁 One of our favorite Ujima gift tote bags got a second life. It started as a gift bag and ended up becoming a new "mail bag."
👓 I'm also having fun learning my new Meta glasses. Technology is always changing, and I'm enjoying discovering new ways to capture stories and everyday moments.
Sometimes blooming isn't about doing something extraordinary.
Sometimes it's simply appreciating a good morning, finding a creative use for something you already have, and staying curious enough to learn something new.
What brought you joy this week?

Technology has changed how we connect with one another. From supporting small businesses and nonprofits to streaming church services, learning new skills, and building community across distances, technology has opened doors that once seemed out of reach. The greatest value isn't the technology itself—it's the people it helps bring together.
In our June–July issue, contributing writer Jacqueline "Jacquie Ooh" Johnson explores how technology can strengthen our communities while reminding us that nothing replaces genuine relationships, compassion, and showing up for one another.
How has technology helped you stay connected to your community, family, or friends?
