is a word almost exclusively applied to women. And why? The irony implied is that a woman should not hold positions of power, and when she asserts herself in ways outside of expected gender roles, this is considered “bad” and discouraged with shaming labels. Men and women are guilty of perpetuating the stigma, and together are responsible for creating more realistic standards that will benefit society as a whole. 🩷🩵
