The past weekend we were part of the Austin 48 Hour Film Project and we had a blast! We're still recovering from the rush and we cannot wait to see the final result on the big screen! Fallen Angels (Wong Kar Wai, 1995)
This is the story of lonely people, craving for human connections in a chaotic city. But it's also so much more than that. It's an amazing visual exercise that shows instead of telling and this is way after I saw it, it became my go-to-movie to recommend when somebody wants to see the power of image in story-telling.

The style of WKW has been so consistent and perfected with the years and yet, this master piece remains as one of the best displays of his amazing cinema.

Not hard to figure that I'm talking about my fav director here. A must watch!
