We are a team of professionals and cultural workers who came together to help Ukrainians defend their freedom and survive a brutal war Russia started against Ukraine. We have no salaried personnel and rely on an extensive network of volunteers in the U.S. Our main focus is to save lives on the frontlines and help children overcome war trauma. We fundraise for causes that range from purchasing protective gear for rescue workers to physical therapy for wounded civilians, servicemen, and women.
Kyiv spent another night under attack.
russia launched 68 missiles and 351 attack drones at Ukraine, with the capital once again taking the hardest hit.
Nearly 30 apartment buildings were damaged. At least 13 people were killed and 49 injured, including five children. Families were pulled from the rubble as rescue crews searched through the night.
For many Ukrainians, the night was spent in bomb shelters, metro stations, underground parking garages, and basements - waiting for the air raid alerts to end and hoping they would have a home to return to in the morning.
As these attacks continue, so does the need for the world to stand with Ukraine.

It rains in Kyiv today as the city mourns the victims of russia's July 2 attack.
At least 30 people will never wake up again.
They were parents, children, neighbors, colleagues, friends. People with plans for the weekend, unfinished conversations, groceries on the kitchen counter, and loved ones waiting for them to come home.
Across Kyiv, flags fly at half-mast. Rescue workers are still clearing rubble. Psychologists continue helping families whose lives changed in a single night.
The rain will stop. The headlines will move on.
But for dozens of families, there is no returning to normal.
Eternal memory to those whose lives were stolen by russia.
Ukraine deserves not only our sympathy but the means to protect its people. And justice for every life taken.
