Ok, I’ll be honest…..I took the first sip and my initial reaction was “this isn’t tea” because I typically drink black iced-tea with lemon. But then I wanted another sip, and another! If you love earthy herbal drinks, this tea is for you! It’s super easy, delicious, and refreshing. Plus……
🌟 caffeine free
🌟 helps digestion
🌟 potassium and vitamin C boost
🌟 a use for wild mint growing in your yard (but there’s no shame in my store-bought game)!

Here’s my recipe:
4 cups of water
1/2 cup packed with organic mint leaves (washed well)
1/3c liquid allulose (granulated would work too but may take longer to dissolve)
Lemon juice from 1 wedge (about 1/2 tbls)

1. Choose a pot that has a tight fitting lid. Bring the water to a boil on the stove over high heat.

2. Add the washed mint leaves, stir, and place the lid on the pot.

3. Remove from heat and steep with the lid on for 2 1/2 hours.

4. Strain out the mint leaves. Add the allulose and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.

5. Pour into 1 large glass mason jar or 2 smaller ones. Refrigerate tightly sealed for at least 6 hours.

6. Pour over ice. Garnish with lemon and mint. Enjoy!
