Navigating Resilience

I have been thinking about this quite a bit the last few weeks. Moving through life, cptsd, ptsd and any blocker can become exhausting. Sometimes it helps to stop, look around and realize the beauty that is this world.
What are your thoughts?

We say this every year in June....Pride is all year....however June specifically is a time for celebration.

May this month bring your nervous system peace
May you find joy in your authentic self
May your light shine such that the darkness of fear is forever turned back

A few words on 'visibility' -

I think we don't attribute enough power to the word 'visibility'. What visibility does is it frees people. In seeing others live their authentic selves, out loud, every day, it normalizes wonderful diversity that is the human condition.

When we can live freely we no longer exhaust ourselves by using all we have to keep the boat from rocking, by showing up as a peacemaker invested in everyone else's peace while we continue to survive in fear and chaos, moving from one trauma to another.

Visibility allows us to live free. Visibility gives us permission to realize the chains we wear. We can contribute more freely to problem solving. We can show up authentically at work, school, social functions and in everyday life. We life in freedom found by the vision that visibility gives us.

On this Transgender Day of Visibility may you find the peace and passion that loosens your chains to walk this world in full color and freedom.
