Brrr 🥶 These sudden dropping temperatures have made us want to get cozy with a cup of coffee, warm blanket, and bullet journal! Crazy to think spring starts this coming week…
If this is you, here are 3 quick ways to practice mindfulness - right here, right now, just where you are!
1. Write 5 things you’re grateful for in your bullet journal - but really feel the gratitude. For example, if you’re grateful for your dog, remember those happy and loving emotions that you get when you’re playing or cuddling with them, and how lucky you are to have had the chance to adopt yours as a furever bestie!
2. Close your eyes and take ten deep breaths, at whatever pace feels right for you. Any thoughts that come your way, gently let them go each time. As a bonus, breathe in something good, such as peace, and breathe out something you’re letting go of today, such as impatience.
3. Engage your five senses by focusing in on what they’re each experiencing. You can do this anywhere at anytime, and you’ll always be surprised at something you weren’t paying attention to: perhaps fresh air or beautiful colors.
