2020- The Year of New & Scary Things

One thing I’m trying this year that I’ve never done as an adult is camping 🏕

I’ve done ~g l a m p i n g~ with real beds and running water and walls and WiFi and I’ve loved it 😂 so when my best friend proposed an real life dirt + nature camping trip I was hesitant.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But there have been so many things I’ve written off as not being for me and I’m trying not to live with all this negative expectation, so we’re going!

It’s gonna be cold, I’ll probably have at least one meltdown (the negativity is hard to shake haha) but I already know I’m going to be so happy we did it 💕🏕

Actually Good Avocado Toast 🥑

Okay, okay, this is controversial 🙈 I just don’t really like avocado toast, it’s just two flavors and that’s not enough to keep me interested. But Liv has been making this hella tasty avo-toast and y’all gotta try it

1 slice bread of your choice (multigrain because health)
A couple slices of kielbasa, diced
1/2 an avocado
Handful of arugula
1 Fried egg

This is easy~peasy! Toast your bread using your preferred roasting method. Meanwhile, throw your diced sausage into a hot pan with a little oil. Fry those babies up! Crack your egg in the same pan and get that dude nice and crispy too.

Mash your avocado with a little salt and pepper and garlic powder because Ms is always in my head (if you’re a badass like Liv you don’t even need a bowl and you can use the 🥑 skin as a bowl!!)
Combine it all

Toast+Avo Mash+Crispy Sausage+Arugula+Fried Egg
BOOM! Delicious & healthy & your dogs will 100/10 try to steal it off your plate. 🐶 (some sausage escaped and I wanted y’all to see how crispy it is. Sooooo good!)
