South Korea has fined Meta (Owner of Facebook and Instagram) $15m after finding it had collected sensitive data and provided it to advertisers without legal approval 😬

Meta obtained info from almost 1 million South Korean Facebook users on issues such as their religion, political views, and sexuality.

The information was then used by 4,000 advertisers! 🤯
