More exciting news! ✨

Drs. Brisa Peña and Kristyn Masters in the Department of Bioengineering at Anschutz were awarded funds from the Strategic Infrastructure for Research Committee (SIRC) for their application “Acquisition of Optics11Life Pavone Nano-Indenter for Biomechanical Characterization of Live Cells, Tissues, and Biomaterials in Health and Disease”. The SIRC program supports multi-departmental facilities that are strategic to the School of Medicine research mission, and this award will support innovative mechanobiological research across campus to help investigators study diseases ranging from heart failure to cancer.
