Today, May 12, we recognize two important awareness observances — Chronic Immunological & Neurological Disease Awareness Day and Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. 💜
While these conditions are different, they share a common need for awareness, understanding, advocacy, and compassionate support. Many individuals living with chronic illnesses face invisible challenges every day, yet continue to show incredible strength and resilience.

Big day for the FWD Mobility team! 👏
Earlier this week, Matt and Carli had the opportunity to host an in-service and product demo with the OT students at Colorado State University. It’s always energizing to connect with future clinicians, share knowledge, and provide hands-on experience with mobility equipment that helps improve independence and quality of life.
We’re grateful to CSU for the warm welcome and engagement—thank you for having us! We’re excited to continue supporting and collaborating with the next generation of therapists.

Hey Everyone!
Our 2nd Annual CANOE Splash & Play with Lakewood Police Department is June 6, 2026, 10-1pm, a free but private event for those with disabilities and their families/siblings/nurses/etc (all ages). Registration is LIVE as of TODAY! 🎉🌊
What to expect: Food truck, police car & policemen/women, firetruck & firemen/women, double slip-n-slide, double water slide, accessible splash pad, resource booths, free raffle, and some small business shopping booths. More fun and surprises to come! Water jugs provided for refills, but please bring a refillable water bottle. You may also bring preferred snacks if food truck food is NOT a preferred option for your family. Wearing swimsuits or clothes, you are okay with clients getting wet in. Don't forget sun protection!
