Brandon C. in Pinckney, MI emails: "Some photos from the annual Presque Isle MI old lighthouse 4th of July parade and community picnic.

"The whole Lake town turned out for the parade of decorated golf carts, fire trucks, 4 wheelers, and kids throwing candy into the crowd. And yeah, that's my daughter in the inflatable eagle costume. Lawn was mowed on Thursday in front of the lighthouse as is proper.

"Next year, I'm getting the kids to dress up in colonial military uniforms and we're going to march recruiting to join General Washington at Valley Forge!"
