We are less than a week away from our Destination Success: Setting Your Business GPS workshop. As a friendly reminder, the location is now in the Linda Beazley Room, 1st floor of the Municipal Building.
The workshop is still being provided in person and virtually, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Here's some helpful news you can use if you run multiple businesses.
**Bookkeeping & CFO Tip:**
If you own two businesses, keep their finances completely separate.
That means:
✅ Separate bank accounts
✅ Separate accounting files
✅ Separate financial records
✅ Separate income and expense tracking
Mixing business finances can create confusion, tax issues, and inaccurate reports. This makes setting benchmarks and goals difficult.

URGENT UPDATE!!
The location for our Destination Success: Setting Your Business GPS workshop which will be held Thursday, July 16th from 2pm to 4pm has changed. It will now be held at the Augusta-Richmond County Linda Beazley Room located at 535 Telfair St., Augusta, GA 30901 on the 1st floor.

AUGUSTA, GA (July 1, 2026) – In observance of Independence Day, many offices of Augusta, Georgia, will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. Below is a list of operating hours for key services:
Augusta Municipal Building: The building will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026. The facility will reopen on Monday, July 6, during normal business hours.
Augusta 311: Augusta 311 will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, and closed on Saturday, July 4.
Environmental Services: Augusta Landfill and Coastal will operate on a regular schedule on Friday, July 3. The landfill will be closed Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Augusta Transit: Fixed routes, ADA, and rural transit services will not operate on Saturday, July 4. Transit will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Animal Services: Will not operate on Friday, July 3, 2026. For emergencies, please call 706-821-1080.
Augusta Utilities: All Augusta Utilities offices, including both Customer Service locations, will be closed Friday, July 3, 2026. Offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, July 6. If there is an emergency not related to billing, call 706-842-3060.
Recreation and Parks: Offices, community centers, and the Augusta Aquatics Center will be closed Friday, July 3, 2026, and Saturday, July 4, 2026. Outdoor facilities will remain open during regular hours. Newman Tennis Center will open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, and from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. All regular hours of operation will resume Monday, July 6, 2026.
